So... back in the day I lived and died for MTV's Headbangers Ball... some of you younger folks may not even know what the hell that is.... anyway, now I'm rockin' out to Bob Dylan, the Avett Brothers and Dr. Dog... BUT... I'd like to pay some tribute - good, bad or ugly, to my teenage past.... so here we have...........
the top (or bottom) three best (or worst - more likely worst) videos from the very late 80's or very early 90's.... oh, and no matter how painful it is... watch the WHOLE VIDEO!!!
here we go...
At number three... GOTHIC SLAM rocking "Who Died and Made You God?"
And number two... we'll go with M.O.D blasting out the screw-you-to-fluffy-hair-rock "True Colors"
And the number one greatest horse-shit video in Headbangers Ball history (at least until I can remember one that is worse....and that will probably take 3 minutes) goes to....
Yankee Rose by David Lee Roth...yeah, they actually played this on HBB - and to be honest it isn't in the same genre as the other two videos but Roth shaking ass, thrusting his man-ness at you and pretending his microphone is a penis...all I can say is ... ENJOY!

first of all, Gothic slam shouldn't make that list, I'd go with T.S and I wanna rock/your gonna burn in hell or something of that sort for funny/shitty video's. Second gotta give Billy Milano Credit for being a big guy and baring the spandex! Hence "Spandex Enormity", Another M.O.D. Classic. As far as the DLR...Shakin Your ass in the camera wearin Bee striped spandex, along with the shot of assless spandex...well the times were rought to us all. iIt was the 80's-90's. Oh and call me corny or pop metal or whatever, but Steve Vai is still a phenom and he made DLR sound good. You don't have to like that shit to know that guy can fuckin play with god.
Gothic Slam... made the list (if we can call it an actual list) because they were so obtrusively annoying lame-o metal... that was the point.... I mean who shot that video... their brother?? And the lyrics... oh man. It was something more to laugh at than anything. and plus, who names their band GOTHIC SLAM???
point well taken. I guess there's a lot of Vids that can fill those shoes.
