I was able to go outside in my shorts and t-shirt today... and boots!!
We had like 45 degrees here.... SPRING! Bout time! Now all I gots to do is clean up all the Fin shit.... fun times....
So this last week I took Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off of work for the HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT... a tradition since about 7th grade.
I need a liver transplant due to all the booze I consumed sitting around watching hockey... cripes, if you think about it, DellMarie and I did about 20 hours of hockey watching, most of which included drinking and eating pizza... so we'll have to dry out and take the dogs for extra walks I guess.
We also run our annual HS Hockey Board, of which I came in 4th place... one out of the money! DellMarie had a potential run going when she picked the upsets of Moorhead and Cretin Durham Hall but picked CDH to beat Moorhead - which didn't happen.... so alas, her points were squandered.....
Carrie finished up in third place and won a big $11.50!
We had 23 entrants this year and a pot of $115....

Fin gets his staples taken out tomorrow... not sure how that will go.... we'll let you know...
